Consider the mechanism shown in the figure. There is rolling contact without slip between the disc and ground.
A mechanism consisting of four links. Link 2 is pinned to the ground at Q and to link 1 at P. Link 1 is pinned to link 3 at R. Link 3 is pinned to a disc (link 4) at its center S. The disc rolls without slip on the ground at point T. Dashed lines extend from QP and TS to meet at point U.
